Mabie Todd – Blackbird Ink Swatch Test

What a great choice of colours for a six set from Mabie Todd and lovely themed names too. Have to say, I do recognise the handiwork of one of my favourite ink makers. Just look at that gorgeous chromatography. I believe that these are available as little sample bottles for £2 each or £10 for the six pack. All blend with water on Bockingford  beautifully and that classic neon gold reaction with bleach is always a joy. From a creative perspective, I can’t fault these. They are also great to write with and look fabulous.

Inks tested: Blackbird Black, Kingfisher Blue, Satrling Purple, Sand Martin Brown, Robin Red, Mallard Green.

OF NOTE: In a bid to promote my fountain pen ink and bleach project further, I have an 8 piece set of 150th Anniversary Diamine Inks to giveaway. And they’re gorgeous colours too!
